When do you decide to become a Dj? Which year did you took the decision?

Around 1986

How was the beginning of your dj career?

Mostly school dances and birthday parties

How was the dance scenes in your country when you were beginners?

I would say only Chicago, Detroit and nyc but It wasint till many years later would I really learn about the dance music scene.

How can you describe the actual dance scenes in your town?

There is no dance music scene in my town. Washington dc is the closest city to me. they have a healthy scene but I do not get to play there to often.

Can you mentioned some artist and labels which influences you in a positive way?

I try t work with lables that are known for the kind of music I like. So labels like irecords, leena/mobile, get physical are doing some great stuff that influence me.

What are you doing actually? Who are you working with any label or artist? Which music format will be released ?

I try to always have something in the works. Right now I have2 remixes im working one, a new release on my label TSOY records and an album im just starting on soon.

Last, for the new people who want to get involved in the music industry, what’s your advices?

be patient and try to find their own sound. When people send me demos to ask me what I think I always ask them what they think and if this is what they want to say in their music. Regardless if I or anyone else likes what they are doing it is most important for them to believe in what they are doing and this is all that matters in the end.
